As a result, Doosan became the first team to produce two batters with more than 50 steals. Doosan's lone stolen base leader Cho Soo-haeng was the first to break through 50 steals, and is recording 63 steals until the 22nd.

Jung Soo-bin, the third-ranked stealer in the league, succeeded in stealing 50, creating the first record of successful 50 steals with the same team for the first time in history.

There were two previous 40 steals. In 1997, during the OB Bears (currently Doosan), Jung Soo-geun stole 50 bases, and Kim Min-ho, the second-ranked stealer in the team, was four shy of 50 steals with 46 stolen bases.

In 2015, the NC Dinos, who were called 'landward', produced as many as three 40 steals batters, including Park Min-woo (46 steals), Kim Jong-ho (41 steals), and Eric Thames (40 steals), but unfortunately, no player made more than 50 steals.
