On the 18th, an official familiar with the K-League transfer market said "Won Doo-jae is set to transfer to the Korpacan club in the UAE professional league." When we conclude the final process, there will be an announcement soon."
Won Doo-jae was discharged from the military this summer after completing his military career. A love call continued for Won Doo-jae, a high-quality midfielder. Initially, FC Seoul was a strong candidate. Seoul, looking for a defensive midfielder, wanted Won Doo-jae and decided to trade with side defender Lee Tae-seok. But for a number of reasons, the trade fell through. In the process, Seoul and Ulsan engaged in a war of words. Lee Tae-seok eventually wore a Pohang Steelers uniform in a trade with Kang Hyun-moo.
The beans eventually remained in Ulsan. Ulsan has made great efforts to turn its mind around. Ulsan recruited Jung Woo-young from the summer transfer market, and even the beans remained, making the midfield saturated. Boyanich, Mateus, Lee Kyu-sung and Ko Seung-beom were in good shape. Traffic needed to be cleared up. Coach Kim Pan-gon, who took the helm, first used Won Doo-jae. He went back and forth between selection and replacement, and consistently played in the game.

After going through Hanyang University, Won Doo-jae started his professional career with J League 2 Avispa Fukuoka in 2017. Won Doo-jae, who gained experience by playing as a starting player in Fukuoka, entered the K-League in 2020 while wearing Ulsan's uniform. Won Doo-jae, who was selected as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) at the 2020 U-23 Championship, has emerged as a key player in Ulsan, showing off his excellent ball distribution and game management ability. In November 2020, he was also selected for the A national team in the eyes of former coach Paulo Bento. Won Doo-jae, who joined the military after the 2022 season, led the promotion of the K League 1 last season as a member of Gimcheon, and also helped Gimcheon compete for the top spot this season.
Won Doo-jae will make his second overseas challenge by moving to the UAE.
