Enzo Zidane, the son of former Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane, one of the best soccer stars of the 21st century, took off his soccer shoes at the age of 29.

The Spanish daily 'As' reported on the 24th (local time) that Enzo decided to retire because he felt bored with soccer.

Enzo has had a year and four months of job hunting since leaving Spain's third division of Fuenlabrada in May 2023.

Midfielder Enzo, who played in France's fifth division (Lodez) in the 2021-2022 season and Spain's third division in the 2022-2023 season, did not have many attractive points to recruit other than his fame as Zinedine's son.

Enzo grew up in Real Madrid's youth team thanks to his father's halo of 'Real Legends' and joined the Real Professional Team, where his father took over as manager in 2016. It was a dream for Enzo, who usually respects Luca Modric (Real).

But Real's wall was high. In the 2016-2017 season, when Enzo joined, Real won the Spanish Primera Liga and the European Champions League under Zinedine's leadership. Enzo left the team a year after scoring one goal in just one match in the Cup while wearing a Real uniform. He left a photo of himself with Big Year (Champions League Trophy).

Since then, he has challenged Switzerland (Rajo Mazadahonda, Almeria) and Portugal (Aves), but has not settled on either team.

Enzo has expressed the pressure and pressure of being compared to his father in past interviews. He added "People compare me and my father, criticize me, and demand more from me. I also say I'm there because I'm someone's son."

Prior to Enzo, David Beckham's son Romeo Beckham decided to retire at the age of 22.

Born as the son of a soccer legend, it is not common for him to surpass his father. Because I have to fight the pressure compared to my father throughout my career. This may also be true of Cristiano Ronaldo (Alnasr) and Lionel Messi (Inter Miami) sons, who have reigned supreme in the world for the past 20 years.
