The KB Financial Group Women's Amateur Golf Championship is a gateway to Korean female golf star players, and among the winners are Kim Hyo-joo (2009), Ko Jin-young (2012), and Ji Han-sol (2013), Lee So-mi (2016), and Lee Ye-won (2018), who are currently performing as big-time players on the KLPGA Tour.
This year's competition is expected to be fiercer than ever as a large number of amateur players, who are considered to be responsible for the future of Korean golf, have cast their ballots. In particular, a large number of national and national standing military players will participate. Starting with the national team Yang Hyo-jin (Namnyeong High School 2) and Park Seo-jin (Seomun Girls' High School 1), Yang Yoon-seo (Incheon Yeobangtong High School 1), Lee Yoon-seo (Seomun Girls' High School 2) and Jeong Ji-hyo (Haksan Girls' High School 3) will compete for the championship.
