Gwangju's shout is gathering as a champion (a nickname for Gwangju Kia Champions Field).

KIA set a new record for the most sales in a season of home games. All 20,500 tickets were sold for the Kiwoom Heroes match on the 7th. Despite a considerable amount of rain before the game, it was sold out 1 hour and 20 minutes before the start.

With this, KIA succeeded in breaking the record (21 times) of the most sold out in a season, which was made in 2009 when it recorded its 22nd sold out of this season 'V10'.

KIA drives cloud spectators at every home game. On the 28th of last month, it succeeded in surpassing 1 million spectators for the second time since its opening in 2014, and on the 3rd, it exceeded the record of the most spectators (102,480) in a season set in 2017 when it achieved 'V11' against LG in Gwangju.

Kia Champions Field has been refurbished ahead of this season. A merchandise stand was newly established in the passageway of the entrance to the third-floor stands, and food and beverage booths were also greatly improved. Franchise coffee companies have also opened large stores. Kia Champions Field, which was evaluated to be somewhat lacking compared to the size of the stadium and the mobilization of spectators, received favorable reviews from baseball fans amid a significantly changed atmosphere this season. In the meantime, KIA has been in first place all season, and the sharp rise in expectations for V12 has also helped the sell-out procession.
