Korean Air won the 2024 Korean-Italian men's volleyball global super match held at Suwon Indoor Gymnasium on the 7th, with a set score of 3-1 (25-19, 24-26, 27-25 25-22) against Italian powerhouse Vero Bali Monza.
Korean Air won the integrated championship last year, becoming the first player in the V League to win four consecutive games.
In Monza, Taylor Avril, who won the bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics as a member of the U.S. national team, as well as Canada, Brazil and Italy, are playing. In addition, Lee Woo-jin, who played for the U20 national team, is also a member of Monza.
The strongest figure in the V-League was also shown against the Italian team.
After a player's blocking in a 7-6 close game in the first set, Yosvani's back attack gradually widened the score. Since then, Korean Air's scoring has continued, and Kim Min-jae's blocking score has been added to secure the victory. At the end of the set, Korean Air took the first set 25-19 as Lee Joon clearly served as a scoring gun.

a deuce game. At 24-24, the serve split the joys and sorrows. With one player's serve out, Avril's serve ace went in, and Monza took the second set.

Korean Air continued its momentum in the fourth set. Cho Jae-young's quick attack, Yosvani's open attack, and Lee Joon's serve score widened the score early on. Yosvani's blocking at 14-8 made it perfectly clear. Monza's last counterattack was also formidable. Mancini quickly narrowed the score by scoring a serve following an open attack. However, Cho Jae-young's blocking score brought the atmosphere once again, and Korean Air eventually grabbed the game.
On the same day, Yosvani scored 21 points for Korean Air, and Lee Joon added 13 points. Monza showed good performance with Lee Woo-jin scoring eight points (40% attack success rate). Martilla and Schwarz combined for 31 points to lead Monza's offense.
Meanwhile, Monza will face Team KOVO at 6 p.m. on the 8th.
