Ohtani scored one hit, one walk, and one point in three at-bats in a home game against the San Diego Padres at Dodger Stadium on the 25th (Korea time). The Dodgers lost 2-4.
Ohtani, who played as the designated hitter for the leadoff, hit a double in the bottom of the first inning and scored the first run. San Diego starter Michael King pulled in a 93.7 mile fastball to hit the right wing line one-bound and hit a ground-rule double over the right fence of the foul pole.
Ohtani then homered through third base while shortstop Xander Bogaerts caught Mookie Betts' ground ball and made a bad pitch to first base to enter the dugout.

In the fourth at-bat, he struck out left-hander Tanner Scott with a swing and miss in the fourth at-bat after two outs in the seventh inning when the team was losing 1-4. He missed his bat on a 98.6-mile fastball on his third pitch in the two strikes.
The Dodgers recovered one point with a heavy hit by Kique Hernandez at the first and third bases with no outs in the bottom of the ninth inning, which was made with consecutive hits by Will Smith and Tommy Edman, but Miguel Rojas was killed triple leading to third baseman and second baseman, and the game ended. Ahead of Ohtani's at-bat, San Diego's infield team caught three outcounts at once.
With this, Ohtani kept his 53 home runs and 55 steals intact. On the same day, Judge hit a solo home run to left in the fourth inning against the Baltimore Orioles, marking his 56th of the season.
