SSG won 5-0 in the 15th game of the season against the Hanwha Eagles at SSG Landers Field in Incheon on the 10th.
With the victory, sixth-ranked SSG has recently won three consecutive games. On the other hand, Hanwha, which recently failed to overcome its crisis and lost three consecutive games, was seventh in the winning rate without a ride before the game, but the gap with SSG widened by one game.
In addition, SSG won its first home game against Hanwha this season. This year, eight home games were losing all of their 16 games against Hanwha at home and seven away games against Daejeon. In the last home match against Hanwha, he broke his losing streak and won one meaningful victory.

For SSG, there was a tight pitching battle with Song Young-jin and Ryan Weiss as starters for Hanwha. Neither team had a proper scoring chance until the middle of the game.
Hanwha's first hitter Hwang Young-mook's hit came out in the top of the first inning, and he entered the third base with an opponent's wild pitch and a ground ball, but the first opportunity to score was canceled when third baseman Hwang Young-mook was tagged out at home when Peraza grounded out in front of the shortstop.

Hanwha also missed the opportunity in the second inning. With leadoff hitter Chae Eun-seong's walk and Kim Tae-yeon's hit, no outs and runners on the first and second bases. However, Kim In-hwan hit the first pitch and recorded a double play that led to first baseman and shortstop, throwing cold water on the ball. With two outs and runners on third base, Lee Do-yoon also grounded out to second base.
After that, the two teams continued their slugging march until the fourth inning. It was SSG that broke the 0-0 close game. A home run in the bottom of the fifth inning changed the atmosphere.

Hanwha's chance in the top of the sixth inning failed. Jang Jin-hyuk and Peraza walked on base in a row after one out. Noh Si-hwan was caught with a fly to center field in the runner's first and second base chances, and Chae Eun-sung filled the bases with a walk after the second out, but Kim Tae-yeon was out with a fly to the first base at the first pitch, leading to a scoreless streak.

SSG added one more run in the bottom of the seventh. It is an additional point obtained after Hanwha lowered Weiss and operated the bullpen. Ha Jae-hoon's double started after one out. Ha Jae-hoon hit a double to left field on Park Sang-won's 149km fastball.
The next batter Park Sung-han struck out swinging, but No. 9 hitter Lee Ji-young stepped up as a troubleshooter. Lee Ji-young brought second baseman Ha Jae-hoon home with a timely hit to get out in front of left field.

SSG's wedge broke in the bottom of the eighth inning. Leading hitter Jung Joon-jae attempted a surprise bunt and made a bunt hit, and even stole second base. At second base with no outs, Choi Jung pulled Hanwha Lee Min-woo's 140km fastball and connected it with a two-run home run over the left fence. It was Choi's 34th home run of the season and SSG's score that sealed the winning atmosphere.
