'I feel great pride' Paris Paralympic MVP Park Jin-ho is thrilled with Toyota's latest hybrid SUV gift

Park Jin-ho (47, Gangneung City Hall), who won the only gold medal in the South Korean team at the 2024 Paris Paralympics and was selected as the MVP, received the Toyota's latest SUV worth 50 million won, which was promised due to injury.

Park Jin-ho attended the 'Paris Paralympic MVP Player Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Vehicle Delivery Ceremony' organized by Toyota Motor Korea, an official partner of the Korea Sports Association for the Disabled, and received the vehicle on the 20th. Park Jin-ho, president of the Korea Sports Association for the Disabled, Manabu Konyama, president of Toyota Motor Corporation, and 20 executives and employees of both organizations attended the vehicle delivery ceremony held at the Bundang exhibition hall in Toyota.

Park Jin-ho said, `I'm so happy that I was able to achieve my goal as much as I've prepared, and I'm even happier that many of you who have helped me have been happy with me.' `I'm more proud to be selected as the first Paralympic MVP, and I hope other players will work together to enjoy the honor of MVP in the future" he said.

Manabu KONYAMA, president of KONYAMA, said, "We give a generous round of applause to all the Korean athletes who participated in the event, including the best player who played at the Paris Paralympics." and added, "KONYAMA will continue to actively support disabled sports athletes to achieve better results in the future."

Park Jin-ho, who won two gold medals in shooting, was selected as the first Paralympic MVP at the Paris Paralympic Games through voting by the Korean Paralympic Committee. Park Jin-ho won his first gold medal in the Paralympic R1 Men's 10m Air Rifle (Sports Grade SH1) held at Chatoru Shooting Center in France on August 31, and on September 3, he set a new Paralympic record in the R7 Men's 50m Rifle 3 Position (Sports Grade SH1).
