KIA will hold a 2025 rookie joining ceremony at Kia Champions Field in Gwangju on the 24th. The joining ceremony, which will be held with CEO Choi Joon-young, general manager Shim Jae-hak, and team executives and employees, will be filled with events such as introduction to 11 people selected through the 2025 rookie draft, a uniform ceremony, delivery of bouquets and souvenirs (i-app studio clothing sets, suit gift certificates), and a welcoming speech to the CEO.
After the joining ceremony, the rookie players will meet with coach Lee Bum-ho and the coaching staff and come to the ground before the game to greet their fans. Rookie players such as Kim Tae-hyung will wear KIA uniforms and briefly introduce themselves and express their bold aspirations for next season.
Rookie players bow to their parents and then hold a pitching-sifo event with their parents. Parents of rookie players will pitch, and rookie players will pitch to announce their start as professional players.
