Incheon was the only one who couldn't laugh in the round where 'Dae-Dae-Jeon', which has been fighting for relegation throughout this season, won side by side.

Incheon lost 0-2 in an away match between Gimcheon Sangmu and 'Hana Bank K League 1 2024' held at Gimcheon Stadium at 4:30 p.m. on the 15th, allowing Lee Dong-joon to score the first goal in the 15th minute of the second half and Kim Dae-won to score the net in the 8th minute of the second half.

Incheon, which beat Daegu in the last round and set the stage for a rebound, failed to escape to the bottom due to the loss. With 31 points from 7 wins, 10 draws and 14 losses, the gap between the remaining 9th-ranked Daejeon Hana (34 points) widened to 3 points. It is two points behind Jeonbuk in 10th place and Daegu in 11th place (33 points).

Daejeon Hana won 3-2 away in Seoul, while Jeonbuk and Daegu defeated Suwon FC and Jeju 6-0, 4-0, respectively. Jeju (35 points), ranked eighth, has also narrowed its gap with the relegation zone to two points due to its recent slump. The difference between the eighth and the bottom is only four points.

Gimcheon, which won in five games, scored 14 wins, 8 draws, 8 losses, and 50 points, bringing down Suwon FC (48 points) and retaking the third place. They continued their battle for the top spot by narrowing the gap between the first Ulsan (54 points) and the second-place Gangwon (51 points) to four points and one point, respectively.

Lee Dong-joon scored his first goal of the season against Ulsan in March, when he was a member of his original team Jeonbuk, and then scored his second goal of the season and his debut goal in Gimcheon in 170 days, signaling a sign of revival.

Incheon coach Choi Young-geun put Mugosa, 'National University' Choi Woo-jin on the bench and set up a two-top with Gerso and Mpoku. In the 4-4-2 formation, Kim Bo-seop, Lee Myung-joo, Shin Jin-ho, and Kim Do-hyuk set up the midfield, while Jeong Dong-yoon, Yonichi, and Kim Gun-hee and Min Kyung-hyun played four backs. Min Sung-joon wore goalkeeper gloves.

In the 4-3-3 formation, Kim Jeong-yong, head coach of Gimcheon, set up a three-middle with Seo Min-woo, Lee Jin-yong and Kim Bong-soo on the Park Sang-hyuk, Lee Dong-joon, and Kim Bo-seop three-top. Oh In-pyo, Kim Min-deok, Park Chan-yong, and Cho Hyun-taek formed a four-back, and Kim Dong-heon defended the goal.

In the 8th minute of the first half, Incheon took the opportunity first. Mpoku's shot near the box caught Gimcheon goalkeeper Kim Dong-heon's foot, which was caught in a dynamic game. Gimcheon, who blocked Incheon goalkeeper Min Sung-joon's pass miss in the 21st minute, had a golden chance. Kim Seung-seop, who caught the ball near the left side of the box, kicked a left-footed shot aimed at the goal and was blocked by Min Sung-joon.

In the 37th minute, Incheon scored the first goal. Gervo, who received Mpoku's defensive back space pass, beat the goalkeeper and cut the net. However, the score was canceled due to an offside foul. The first half ended in a 0-0 draw.

At half-time, Gimcheon put in Lee Seung-won and Kim Dae-won, and Incheon put in Choi Woo-jin to make changes. In the 10th minute of the second half, Gimcheon opened the goal this time. Park Sang-hyuk, who was handed Cho Hyun-taek's space pass, quickly approached the box and beat the defender to the net. However, Gimcheon's goal was also canceled due to offside fouls. In the 12th minute of the second half, Incheon took the reins of the attack by putting Mugosa Park Seung-ho in at the same time. In the 16th minute of the second half, Gimcheon put in Mo Jae-hyun.

However, Gimcheon succeeded in 'real score' five minutes later. Oh In-pyo, who oversaw the ball that Kim Dae-won, who replaced, opened to the right, was handed over and stabbed a low cross to the other side of the goal. Lee Dong-joon scored this with a calm shot in a no-mark situation. In the 29th minute of the second half, Gervo's right foot shot was blocked by the goalkeeper.

In the 30th minute of the second half, Incheon added Hong Si-hoo and Gimcheon added Yoo Kang-hyun to make changes to the offense. Incheon put in Kim Jun-yeop and Gimcheon put in Park Soo-il to fill up the lack of energy. In the 39th minute of the second half, Gimcheon blocked the pass near the opponent's box and took a golden opportunity to score an additional goal. Yoo Kang-hyun's shot in a one-on-one situation with the goalkeeper, who caught the ball, went head-to-head and was blocked.

Mugosa's volley missed the first minute of extra time and went over the net. Incheon, which failed to take advantage of the last corner kick chance in the 7th minute of extra time in the second half, immediately allowed a counterattack. Even the goalkeeper emptied the goal and participated in the attack. Kim Dae-won, who took Choi Woo-jin's ball from the defense side, scored an additional goal toward the empty goal. The game ended with a 2-0 victory for Gimcheon with Kim Dae-won's fifth goal at the forefront.
