The Korean Volleyball Federation will start selling online tickets for the '2024 Tongyeong·Dodram Cup Professional Volleyball Competition', which will open on the 21st, from 11 a.m. on the KOVO integrated website on the 13th.

Seats consist of designated seats on the first floor (center seats, sub seats, and premium seats) and non-designated seats on the second and third floors. Tickets can be purchased sequentially from 11 a.m. eight days before the day of each game (e.g., September 21st (Saturday) games will be available on September 13th (Friday) and September 22nd (Sunday) games will be available on September 14th (Saturday). In addition, offline, only the remaining seats after online sales can be purchased through the on-site ticket office two hours before the start of the game.

As in last year, a total of 16 teams from each men's and women's teams will participate in this competition, where a total of 8 teams from each men's and women's teams will join to compete for self-defense. In the men's division, the Armed Forces Sports Unit (Sangmu) and Japan's Prestige International Aranmare (Prestige International Aranmare) will participate in the women's division.

The invited team, the Armed Forces Sports Unit, has national team-level players such as setter Hwang Taek-ui and Apogit Spiker Lim Dong-hyuk.

Aranmare is a team ranked ninth in the 2023-2024 All-Japan Volleyball Championships and 11th in the Japanese SV League.

The game will be divided into two groups and played in the group stage, and the top two teams will advance to the semifinals and play in the tournament.

Group A of the men's team included OK Financial Group, Korean Air, Hyundai Capital and KB Insurance, while Group B included Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, Woori Card, Korea Electric Power Corp. and the Armed Forces Sports Department. In the women's group A, GS Caltex, Hyundai Engineering & Construction, Korea Expressway Corporation, Pepper Savings Bank, and IBK Industrial Bank, Jeong Kwan-jang, Heungkuk Life Insurance, and Aranmare are set to face off in Group B.

Meanwhile, the cup competition, which will be held for the first time in Tongyeong, will be held from the 21st to the 28th for the men's team and from the 29th to the 6th for the women's team at Tongyeong Gymnasium.
