South Korea, ranked 23rd in the FIFA rankings, shocked domestic soccer fans by drawing a scoreless first Group B match against Palestine (ranked 96th) on the 5th.

In the third Asian qualifying round for the North-China World Cup, 18 teams will be divided into three groups (A to C) and the second place in each group will be given the right to play in the finals, while the third and fourth places will enter the playoffs. In the playoffs, six teams will be divided into two groups to determine the first place in each group, and the second place in each group will play the ninth place match to determine a total of nine tickets.
