With the final game of Game 16 of the season between Kiwoom and LG scheduled to be held at Jamsil Baseball Stadium on the 12th, tarps were installed early near the mound and infield ground of Jamsil Baseball Stadium.
Amid strong rain clouds developing throughout the central region, Seoul has repeatedly rained and stopped since dawn. The Korea Meteorological Administration predicted that the rain would stop around 19:00.
Meanwhile, Kiwoom won the match between the two teams 9-5 the previous day. In the game, LG announced Son Joo-young and Kiwoom announced Kim Yoon-ha as starters. Video footage shows Jamsil baseball stadium in heavy rain.
