K League 2 Cheonan City FC Appoints Lee Young-ik, Head of Power Reinforcement Division from FC Seoul
K League 2 Cheonan City FC appointed Lee Young-ik, head of the power reinforcement office.

Lee Young-ik, the new head of the power reinforcement office, started his professional soccer career with Lucky Geumseong Bull (currently FC Seoul) in 1989 after passing through Northeast Middle School, Northeast High School, and Korea University. He was selected for the national team in 1990 and 1996 and showed gritty play.

He began his leadership career in 1998 by serving as the head coach of Hyundai Mipo Chosun Dolphin Football Team, and gained extensive field experience by serving as the head coach and coach of Daejeon Citizen, FC Seoul U-18 coach, Sangju Sangmu head coach, Gyeongnam FC head coach, Seongnam FC head of power reinforcement office, and China's Unnam U-18 coach.

Lee Young-ik, head of the power reinforcement office, is expected to further enhance Cheonan City FC's competitiveness by utilizing its abundant soccer experience and excellent power reinforcement capabilities. He expressed his feelings about the appointment, saying, `I am happy to contribute to the strengthening of Cheonan City FC, a new team,' `We will contribute to strengthening Cheonan City FC's capabilities so that it can be reborn as a stronger team.'

Cheonan will play an away game against Suwon Samsung at Yongin Mir Stadium at 7 p.m. on the 14th.
