Gyeongnam FC seemed to find hope for a leap in the rankings by scoring the first goal at home. However, he hit the ground in the second half when he allowed an equalizer through a corner kick.

Gyeongnam drew 1-1 against Suwon Samsung in the 33rd round of 'Hana Bank K League 2 2024' held at Changwon Football Center at 7 p.m. on the 28th. As a result, Gyeongnam only gained one point and remained 12th in the league (28 points, 5 wins, 13 draws and 13 losses). Suwon has benefited. Thanks to Kim Hyun's equalizer in the second half, he added one point in the enemy territory, ranking fifth in the league (45 points, 12 wins, 9 draws and 10 losses).

Gyeongnam, which has been playing the rest of the season under acting coach Kwon Woo-kyung since Park Dong-hyuk, who took office for the first time this year, was dismissed due to poor performance on the 13th, challenged Suwon to win in 11 games. In the previous 10 games, Gyeongnam was in extreme slump with seven draws and three losses. This disastrous result led to the replacement of head coach Park Dong-hyuk.

Acting head coach Kwon Woo-kyung took over the chaotic atmosphere. However, the situation did not improve under Kwon's acting system. He was sluggish with two draws and one loss. I was aiming to turn the mood around.

But the situation has not changed. Early in the first half, Suwon was on the offensive. Suwon Mulic's shot came out in the fourth minute of the first half. In the 7th minute, Park Seung-soo threatened Gyeongnam's camp with a sharp forward pass. South Gyeongsang Province is in crisis. However, he scored the first goal with a counterattack.

In the 12th minute of the first half, Do Dong-hyun moved forward after trapping Dongjin Park's pass with his head. Suwon Ko Jong-hyun fell and created space. Do Dong-hyun scored the first goal with a technical shot. It seemed that the spirit of victory had come after a long time.

Suwon launched a wave of attacks. Gyeongnam's defense showed solid cohesion for the first time in a long time. They finished the first half with a 1-0 lead.

If he played well in the second half, he could have won in 11 games. However, Suwon changed the atmosphere by changing players. Baek Dong-gyu and Peter were newly added. Since then, the offensive has become more active. Lee Ki-je's free kick and Mulic's shot threatened the Gyeongnam goal. Suwon kept knocking on the door. Gyeongnam's defense threw their whole body to block it.

But when you tap it, it eventually opens up. A corner kick in the 31st minute of the second half. Kim Hyun, who has a high RBI, jumped up and scored a header equalizer. Suwon aimed to turn the tables while they were out. Kim Hyun's mid-range shot, the main character of the equalizer, headed straight to the goalkeeper. Suwon's attack no longer worked. South Gyeongsang had to be relieved by the 1-1 draw.
