Kang Hyun-moo, Seoul's gatekeeper, won the K League in August 'Ringti Save of the Month'



FC Seoul gatekeeper Kang Hyun-moo won the K-League 'Ringti Save of the Month made by doctors' in August of the 2024 season.

Sponsored by Ringti 'Ringti Save of the Month' is an award given to the player who showed the most impressive performance every month. For two candidates, 80% fan voting through the K-League membership application 'Kick' and 20% voting through the official mall of Ringti are combined to determine the winners. 'Kick' fan voting can be participated once a day within the period per subscriber, a total of three times, and the official mall voting for Ringti can be participated once per subscriber within the period. All the people who participated in the vote through the official Ringti Mall will be given various prizes, including the official Ringti Mall reserve.

In August 'Save of the Month' targeted three games in the 26th to 28th rounds of the K League, and the candidates were Kang Hyun-moo in Seoul and Kim Kyung-min in Gwangju.



Kang Hyun-moo defended Seoul's goal by blocking Kim Dong-hyun's volley again shortly after punching out the opponent's corner kick in the 44th minute of the first half against Gangwon in the 28th round. In the match against Gangwon in the 27th round, Kim Kyung-min showed an amazing reflex that saved Kovacevic's header in the 43rd minute of the first half and blocked Lee Sang-hun's header.

The fan vote, which was held through the official mall of 'Kick' and Ringti, was held for three days from the 5th to the 7th of this month. As a result of converting the voting weight, Kang Hyun-moo received 63 points (5941 votes), beating Kim Kyung-min, who received 37 points (4121 votes), and winning 'August Save of the Month'. Kang Hyun-moo, who was selected as the winner, will receive a trophy along with a prize of 1 million won.
