KIA wins 4-3 after extra-time blood fight against Hanwha

KIA won a 4-3 walk-off victory in the bottom of the 10th inning against the Hanwha Eagles at Kia Champions Field in Gwangju on the 5th. Seo Geon-chang's walk-off hit in the bottom of the 10th inning with one out and second base in the extra inning, which entered the 3-3 tie, became the winning hit. KIA, which lost 4-5 to Hanwha in the top of the 10th inning of extra time on the 4th, succeeded in avenging itself in a day. Hanwha stepped down in the top of the ninth inning when it made three against KIA closer Jung Hae-young. KIA went scoreless against Hanwha Han Seung-hyuk in the bottom of the ninth inning, and the game went to extra time for two consecutive days.
With Hanwha scoreless in the top of the 10th inning, KIA's leadoff hitter Na Sung-bum made a hit to the right against Hanwha Han Seung-joo. With Kim Kyu-sung's bunt success on the second base with one out, pinch runner Hong Jong-pyo homered when Seo Geon-chang hit to the right, ending the game with a one-run victory.
