Before the game, KT Wiz manager Lee Kang-chul said "I can't come out because I was swollen because of the ball that was eaten yesterday. So I changed it in the middle."
Kim Sang-soo, who had played until his third at-bat in the fifth inning against Suwon Samsung on the 18th, the previous day, was replaced when he defended in the top of the seventh inning. Kim Sang-soo was playing ball-to-hand against his former team Samsung, making a timely hit in his second at-bat on the day.

Yoon Jun-hyuk, who made his first appearance in the first division this season since joining in 2020, was batting .176 in 13 games.
