Korea Federation of Players, U-18 National Team, and U-23 National Team Deliver Encouragement Funds

The Korea Professional Baseball Players Association (hereinafter referred to as the Korea Professional Baseball Players Association) announced on the 13th that it has delivered incentives to the U-18 and U-23 national teams.

Jang Dong-chul, secretary-general of the Korea Baseball Association, delivered encouragement money to the U-23 national team that participated in the WBSC (World Baseball Softball Federation) baseball World Cup in Hangzhou, China, and the U-18 national team that won the bronze medal at the Asian Youth Baseball Championship in Taiwan. The association said, `This delivery of encouragement money is designed to give a boost to young athletes who are shining on the international stage.'

Since last year, the Korea Federation of Athletes' Association has given encouragement money to the youth national team participating in international competitions. Secretary-General Jang Dong-chul said, `We will come up with various support measures to help the players representing our country grow steadily.'
