The Korea Golf University has changed its school name to the Korea Golf Science and Technology University since September and is emerging through major innovation.

Korea Golf University of Science and Technology, which marks its 14th anniversary this year, is the only golf industry university in Korea with top-notch faculty and advanced education facilities that combine theory and practice. Along with the change in the school name, it aims to create a new educational paradigm to cultivate global sports talents desired by the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

The Korea Golf University of Science and Technology, a platform that has led the Korean golf industry as a strong university, analyzed the employment and corporate needs of the golf industry and reflected cutting-edge science and technology in various curriculums in line with the changing golf industry, while innovating education by changing the school name and reorganizing the department.

Lee Hyun-soo, president of the Korea National University of Golf Science and Technology, said, `We plan to cultivate not only professional golfers and leaders but also high-tech golf industry experts suitable for AI industry, equipment manufacturing, healthcare, course management, and golf media based on the 4th Industrial Revolution.' `We will create more social value through creative education and practical research that pioneers the future of the golf industry. Meanwhile, the Korea Golf University of Science and Technology unveiled a new schedule for early and regular admission for the 2025 school year following the change of school name and reorganization of the department.

New students from four departments, including the Department of Golf Game Guidance, the Department of Golf AI Industry, the Department of Golf Course Management, and the Department of Golf Rehabilitation Healthcare, will be recruited, and the first round of occasional admission will be held from September 9 to October 2. The second round of early admission will then be held from November 8 to 22, and the regular admissions will be held from December 31 to January 14.
