The Korea Sports Promotion Foundation operates an integrated dementia prevention management program for the first time in the country in collaboration with Songpa-gu



The Seoul Olympic Memorial National Sports Promotion Foundation (Chairman Cho Hyun-jae) announced that it will promote the nation's first integrated management program for dementia prevention, the Physical Power Up! Brain Power Up! Youth Health Project, for those with mild cognitive impairment who are likely to develop dementia along with Songpa-gu.

The Sports Corporation has collaborated with the Songpa-gu Dementia Relief Center since the beginning of this year to discover a new dementia prevention integrated management program using the National Fitness 100's elderly exercise program.

As a result, National Physical Fitness 100 will use dementia prevention programs to operate physical fitness classes to improve physical strength and maintain cognitive and physical functions, and the Dementia Safety Center will provide training to strengthen brain stimulation and memory and integrated nutrition management education for healthy eating habits.



Jin Ki-ryun, head of the National Physical Fitness Project Team, said "We planned this project because interest in preventing dementia is increasing due to rapid aging."We will continue to do our best to expand cooperation with dementia safety centers nationwide to provide high-quality dementia prevention and integrated management services."," he said.

Meanwhile, the Sports Corporation is running a 'National Physical Fitness 100' project to measure scientific physical strength to improve people's physical strength and health, customized exercise prescriptions, and physical fitness classes.
