Kyungwoon Middle School and Daegu Namdo Elementary School won the 22nd Samsung Elementary-Chinese Baseball Tournament.

Hosted by the Gyeongbuk Baseball Softball Association and sponsored by the Samsung Lions, a total of 16 teams from elementary and middle schools participated, and it was held at Samsung Lions Park, Pohang Stadium, and Sports Stadium in Daegu for four days from the 10th to the 13th. In the middle school division, Kyungwoon Middle School won the championship by 10-6 in Daegu Middle School, and in the elementary school division, Daegu Namdo Elementary School won 5-3 over Daegu Bonri Elementary School.

Kyungwoon Middle School pitcher Kang Kyu-min won the award for best middle school player. Kim Yu-gun (Kyungwoon Middle School) received the Outstanding Pitcher Award, and Yoon Joo-young (Daegu Middle School) received the Deceit Award. In the elementary school division, Kim Tae-min (Daegu Namdo Elementary School) won the Most Valuable Player Award, Kim Hyun-gun (Daegu Namdo Elementary School) won the Outstanding Pitcher Award, and Kim Joo-wan (Daegu Bonri Elementary School) won the Gamgum Award.

The winning team will be given a baseball equipment exchange ticket worth 3 million won each. The runner-up team received a baseball equipment exchange ticket worth 2 million won. The winners of the individual awards in seven categories, including the best player, will receive the latest electronics from Samsung Electronics.
