Lee Chang-geun defended Daejeon's 2-0 victory against Gwangju FC at Daejeon World Cup Stadium on the 1st. Lee Chang-geun achieved his fifth clean sheet this season by blocking all four effective shots toward the inside of the goal, including Gwangju Lee Kun-hee's strong header. With the victory, Daejeon jumped to ninth and escaped from the relegation zone.
Lee Chang-geun was also selected as the best goalkeeper in the 29th round. Yuri Jonathan (Jeju), Yago and Arabidze (Ulsan) were chosen as the best strikers in the 29th round, while Kim Do-hyuk (Incheon), Ko Seung-beom (Ulsan), and Lee Soon-min and Yoon Do-young (Daejeon) were named as midfielders.
