LG won the home game against the Hanwha Eagles 14-2 at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on the 8th. LG won for the second time in a row and secured its 68th win (two draws and 61 losses) of the season. Hanwha has lost two games in a row. The season record was 60 wins, 2 draws and 66 losses.
On this day, LG formed the starting lineup in the order of Hong Chang-ki (designated hitter), Kim Hyun-soo (left fielder), Austin Dean (first baseman), Moon Bo-kyung (third baseman), Oh Ji-hwan (striker), Park Dong-won (catcher), Park Hae-min (middle fielder), Koo Bon-hyuk (second baseman), and Lee Young-bin (right fielder).
Hanwha made the starting lineup in the order of Hwang Young-mook (2nd baseman), Jang Jin-hyuk (2nd baseman), Jonathan Peraza (designated hitter), Noh Si-hwan (3rd baseman), Chae Eun-sung (1st baseman), Kim In-hwan (left fielder), Kim Tae-yeon (right fielder), Lee Do-yoon (striker) and Choi Jae-hoon (catcher).

In the top of the eighth inning, Hanwha had a chance to get the first and second bases with no outs with a hit by Kwon Kwang-min and Kim In-hwan. He made up for Ha Joo-seok's timely hit with two outs and a third base due to Euro resolution's double play. In the bottom of the ninth inning, leadoff hitter Hwang Young-mook got on base, but he swallowed the disappointment as it did not lead to a score.
