KIA Tigers have won eight consecutive games against the LG Twins.

KIA came from behind to win 7-5 against LG at Kia Champions Field in Gwangju on the 3rd. While starter Yang Hyun-jong recorded the first 150 innings of KBO League left-hander with a quality start of three runs in six innings (more than six innings, less than three earned runs), Choi Hyung-woo and Kim Sun-bin were responsible for two RBIs each in the lineup, and Park Chan-ho and Hong Jong-pyo also scored RBIs to help win. KIA, which began its winning streak against LG on June 20, added another victory and continued its strong momentum of eight consecutive wins. The final match against the pennant race LG was an absolute advantage of 13 wins and 3 losses. KIA's season record was 76 wins, two draws and 49 losses. LG's starter Hernandez lasted six innings, but allowed six runs, and Austin and Oh Ji-hwan drew an arch in the lineup, but failed to take advantage of the chase opportunity and bowed their head.

Last but not least, LG is trying to build up its pride. He proved his will by taking the first step.

As Hernandez pitched scoreless until the third inning, LG seemed to take the lead.

However, KIA turned one chance around in the bottom of the fourth inning. The first batter Socrates got on base with an infield hit, followed by Kim Do-young's hit to the left, making the first and second bases with no outs. In this situation, Choi Hyung-woo hit a double to right-center to tie the game.
