Madasom (25, Samchully) won the Hana Financial Group Championship (total prize money of 1.5 billion won) on the KLPGA Tour for the first time this season and the second time since her debut.
In the fourth round of the final day at Bears Best Cheongna Golf Club (par 72, 6712 yards) in Incheon on the 29th, Madasom recorded a whopping 11-under 61 with nine birdies and one eagle without a bogey, and reached the top with a final total of 19-under 269.
He tied for first place and beat second-place Yoon Na-na, who started the final round in the championship group, by as much as nine strokes. The nine-shot victory is the tie record for the largest number of strokes in the KLPGA since 2000.
Madasom won his second tour victory in a year since the OK Financial Group Eutman Open in September last year. Both victories were achieved in September, his birthday.
The winning prize money of 270 million won was transferred to Madasom's bank account through the organizer Hana Bank at the awards ceremony.
