Netmarble Cultural Foundation hosts the "2024 National Disabled Student e-Festival"

Called the eSports Olympics for Students with Disabilities 'National Disabled Students eFestival' is co-hosted by the Netmarble Cultural Foundation, the National Institute of Special Education, and the Korea Creative Content Agency, and sponsored by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The Netmarble Cultural Foundation has been co-hosting the event since 2009.
This year's event will be held for two days under the slogan 'Enthusiasm e Space, Happy e Moment'. The e-sports competition will be attended by 1,600 special school (level) students, supervisors, special school managers, and parents selected through regional preliminary rounds for 17 metropolitan and provincial offices of education nationwide from June to July. The competition will be held in a total of 28 events, including 10 e-sports competitions (Magumagu remaster, everyone's marble, etc.) and 18 information competitions.
Winners in each category except for the pilot event will be awarded the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education and the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award. In addition, the National Institute of Special Education Award and the Korea Creative Content Agency Award, the Excellence Award, the Encouragement Award, and the Netmarble Cultural Foundation's representative award, the Fair Play Award, will be presented, respectively.
Kim Seong-cheol, CEO of the Foundation, said "The national e-festival for students with disabilities has been an open festival where students with disabilities can experience the development of technology and industry for a long time."We will continue to introduce new sports and expand cultural experiences to establish ourselves as the largest e-sports and informatization event for students with disabilities in Korea."
