Kiwoom Furado with a monthly WAR of 1.39 was selected in the pitcher category in August, which is selected based on WAR (contribution to victory over replacement players).
Furado was the first of the league's starting pitchers to record his 20th quality start (more than 6 innings and less than 3 earned runs) in the match against Suwon KT Wiz on the 20th.
