In the home game against SSG Landers at Jamsil Stadium on the 5th, LG formed the starting lineup of Hong Chang-ki (right wing), Oh Ji-hwan (striker), Austin (first baseman), Moon Bo-kyung (third baseman), Kim Hyun-soo (left wing), Kim Bum-seok (designated hitter), Koo Bon-hyuk (second baseman), Choi Won-young (middle fielder), and Heo Do-hwan (catcher).
The opponent's starter is Kim Kwang-hyun, who is left-handed, so there are many right-handed hitters. Five right-handed hitters, including Austin, Kim Bum-seok, Koo Bon-hyuk, Choi Won-young and Heo Do-hwan, will play.
LG hitters hit Kim Kwang-hyun a lot this season. Moon Bo-kyung showed strong performance with 3 hits in 5 at-bats (three doubles), Kim Hyun-soo 5 hits in 10 at-bats, Park Dong-won 4 hits in 8 at-bats, Austin 5 hits in 10 at-bats, and Kim Bum-seok 3 hits in 9 at-bats. However, Park Hae-min was weak by Kim Kwang-hyun with no hits in seven at-bats. Shin Min-jae also had no hits in four at-bats, but has recently been out due to a wrist injury.
Choi Won-young started the day before as a ninth-right fielder and contributed to the team's victory by hitting an RBI right-handed hit in the bottom of the second inning.
Jamsil Stadium rained heavily on this day, but it stopped at around 3:40 p.m. and started preparing for the game.
