Lotte won the away game against the Doosan Bears 4-3 at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on the 1st. Lotte won four consecutive games and recorded 56 wins (three draws and 62 losses) in the season. Doosan has lost three games in a row. The record was 64 wins, 2 draws and 63 losses.
On this day, Doosan starter Jordan Balazovic left the mound after allowing three runs in four ⅓ innings. Lotte's Park Se-woong pitched six scoreless innings, but failed to win.
Lotte's starting players were Yoon Dong-hee (center fielder), Ko Seung-min (second baseman), Son Ho-young (third baseman), Victor Reyes (right fielder), Jeon Joon-woo (left fielder), Na Seung-yeop (first baseman), Jung Hoon (designated hitter), Park Seung-wook (striker), and Son Sung-bin (catcher).
The first place was at Lotte. Leading hitter Yoon Dong-hee hit a double, and after one out, Son Ho-young got on base with a hit ball. Reyes, with one out and runners on the first and second bases, hit a double to the right of center field, bringing both runners home.

Na Kyun-an also came up in the bottom of the 12th inning of extra time, and kept the victory by blocking one inning without losing a point.
