Jung Chan-min reduced 9 strokes, setting the stage for a come-from-behind victory.

In the third round of the Shinhan Donghae Open of the Korea Professional Golf Association (KPGA) Tour, which continued at Club 72 Ocean Course (par 72) in Incheon on the 7th, Jung Chan-min rose to third place by reducing nine pars with one eagle and nine birdies.

Jung Chan-min, who recorded a 14-under 202 total in the middle, is in third place, two strokes behind joint leaders Kensei Hirata and Kosuke Suzuki (Japan, 16-under 200), and will try to win the come-from-behind victory in the final round on the 8th.

Jung Chan-min's 9 under par was the lowest round of the KPGA Tour. Jung Chan-min had an 8-under 63 at the 'GS Caltex Maekyung Open' last year.

Jung Chan-min, who suffered from a slump that has never been in the top 10 this season, will try to win his third championship in 10 months since winning the Golf Zone-Doray Open in November last year.

정찬민 인터뷰
Jung Chan-min said "As my putt didn't go well this season, I felt pressured and played timidly. However, as the putt has revived since last week, I think I'm playing with confidence, so I'm coming out with a good side"I also set the tempo of the shot. Overall, it became faster, but I tried to make up for this. He explained the secret of his rise, saying, "I've increased my practice a lot."

"As I play the final round at the top in a long time, I will make sure to play only my own play."I'm determined for the final round.

Kim Min-kyu, who is ranking first in the prize money and multiple wins with two wins this season, also joined the competition for the championship by reducing six strokes on the same day to tie for fourth place at 13-under overall. Kim Min-kyu wrote down one double bogey and three bogeys, but he made an aggressive play with 11 birdies.

"11 birdies in one round are my first" Kim Min-kyu said with a smile, "Iron shots were quite good, so I put them near the pin, and the putt from 3-5m was good, so I was able to get a lot of birdies.", he explained. He is three shots behind the leader and tries to win the final round, saying, `I think I need to reduce the number of pars more than I did today to win the championship"I'm determined.
