Hanwha won 8-0 against KIA at Hanwha Life Eagles Park in Daejeon on the 27th. Hanwha got the first run in the bottom of the fourth inning when Roh Si-hwan's missed hit became a timely hit in front of center field following Moon Hyun-bin's double to right field after one out in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Weiss in charge until the sixth inning, Hanwha blocked the run as Kim Seo-hyun, who took the mound in the top of the seventh inning, struck out Park Jung-woo in a bases-loaded crisis with two outs. In the ensuing attack, Hanwha widened the gap to five points as Noh Si-hwan made a two-run double to right-center against Kim Min-joo, who took the mound in relief with one out and one on the first and second bases made by Choi In-ho and Moon Hyun-bin's hit against KIA Yoo Ji-sung. Hanwha added one more point in the bottom of the eighth inning with Lee Do-yoon's double and Choi Jae-hoon's timely hit, and Choi In-ho's superior two-run shot broke out, deciding the game early.
