NC lost 6-7 at home against the Hanwha Eagles at Changwon NC Park on the 19th. No. 9 NC lost for the 74th time (two draws and 60 wins) of the season. Hanwha, ranked eighth, had 63 wins, 2 draws and 72 losses in the season.
If KT and Doosan win the match against Suwon Samsung-KT and Jamsil KIA-Doosan, NC will be eliminated from the fall baseball. Doosan's 9-4 victory over KIA allowed KT and Samsung to watch the results.
On this day, NC formed the starting lineup in the order of Seo Ho-cheol (designated hitter), Kim Joo-won (st baseman), Park Min-woo (second baseman), Matt Davison (first baseman), Kim Hwi-jip (third baseman), Chun Jae-hwan (left fielder), Han Seok-hyun (right fielder), Kim Sung-wook (middle fielder), and Kim Hyung-jun (catcher).
For Hanwha, Hwang Young-mook (second baseman), Kwon Kwang-min (left fielder), Moon Hyun-bin (third baseman), Noh Si-hwan (designated hitter), Chae Eun-sung (first baseman), Kim Tae-yeon (right fielder), Jang Jin-hyuk (middle fielder), Lee Do-yoon (striker) and Choi Jae-hoon (poser) were selected as starters.

NC also countered with a home run in the bottom of the first inning. Leading hitter Seo Ho-chul's double, Park Min-woo's hit, and Kim Hwi-jip's walk combined for a two-out bases-loaded chance, and turned the game around 4-2 when Chun Jae-hwan's first grand slam hit.

In the top of the third inning, Hanwha took a chance on the first and third bases with Chae Eun-sung's double and Jang Jin-hyuk's hit, and Lee Do-yoon's double play allowed the third baseman to come home and run a point.
Hanwha's score continued in the top of the sixth inning. Lee Do-yoon's hit and Choi Jae-hoon's sacrifice bunt created a chance with one out and second base. Later, Hwang Young-mook stepped down with a swing and miss in 2S2B, but Kwon Kwang-min's timely hit widened the score to 7-4.

He tried to keep the hope of the last fall baseball by chasing Hanwha closely, but ended in silence in the bottom of the ninth inning, eventually extinguishing the flame for entering fall baseball.
NC's starter Lee Yong-joon went down the mound with four runs in one inning, followed by Lee Joon-ho (2 runs in 3 innings), Lee Yong-chan (2 runs in 2 innings), Ryu Jin-wook (1 scoreless inning), Lim Jung-ho (1 scoreless inning), and Kim Jae-yeol (1 scoreless inning).
