Tickets for the Samsung Lions-KIA Tigers match held at Kia Champions Field in Gwangju on the 24th were sold out. Home team KIA announced that all 20,500 tickets were sold at 7:55 p.m., 1 hour and 25 minutes after the start of the game. It was the 27th full-capacity spectator this season and sold out for six consecutive games from the match against Kiwoom on the 7th to the day.
KIA has set a record for the most tie by selling out six consecutive games from the match against Doosan in Gwangju on May 24 to the match against KT on June 2. This is the second time this season that it has sold out six consecutive games.
KIA is set to play against Gwangju Samsung on the 24th and Lotte on the 25th. The pennant race victory ceremony and the Korean Series opening ceremony are scheduled on the 25th, which is expected to be sold out.
