'26-year-old Fantastic Doubles Group' Jung Jae-gun (47, WH1, Ulsan Jung-gu Office) and Yoo Soo-young (21, WH2, Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled) collaborated for a brilliant silver medal at the Paris Paralympics.

Jung Jae-gun and Yoo Soo-young lost to China's set score 0-2 (10-21, 12-21) in the final of the men's doubles (WH1 and Grade 2) at the Paris Paralympics at the Port de La Chappelle Arena in France on the 1st (local time). He worked hard every point against the world's strongest group, who had been working together for a long time, but there was still a difference in skills. He struggled with a fighting spirit that did not give up until the end, but failed to cross the wall of the Great Wall.

Jung Jae-gun and Yoo Soo-young-jo teamed up again ahead of the Paris Paralympics after twists and turns that they broke up because they did not get good results two years ago. As the results of the international competition improved, he was confirmed to go to Paris, and he made it to the finals in his first Paralympic appearance. They beat Japan's Matsumoto Takumi and Nagashima Osamuzo in the semifinals to reach the final.

Following the men's doubles silver medal, each will now challenge for a men's singles medal. Yoo Soo-young will play the bronze medal match against Kim Jung-joon (46, Daegu Urban Development Corporation) on the 2nd. Jeong Jae-gun will compete for the bronze medal with Thomas Vantzchneider of Germany.
