Goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario (28), who has often spoken up for the team in the locker room, will join Tottenham's leadership group as a new member. It is expected to play a role in uniting the team by the side of captain Son Heung-min.
British media TBR Football reported on the 22nd (Korea time) 'Tottenham's star player has joined the leader group consisting of Son Heung-min, James Madison and Christian Romero since this summer' citing a YouTube broadcast by Alasdair Gold, a reporter familiar with Tottenham's situation. The new leader group member mentioned here is Vicario. He was recognized for his leadership by manager Enze Postecoglou a year after leaving Serie A Empoli FC to join Tottenham last summer.

"I understand that Vicario has officially joined the team's leadership group since last summer," he said. "Since the past, Tottenham has always had a leadership group that encompasses all players. Harry Kane, Pierre-Emile Hoibier and Hugo Lloris were once a group. Now it's Son Heung-min, Madison, and Romero. And as far as I know, Vicario has officially joined as the fourth leader group member since the summer."

After joining Tottenham last summer, Vicario immediately took over as the main goalkeeper and established himself as the representative goalkeeper of the EPL. Although this season is not off to a good start, it is gradually recovering the stability of last season.
