The Seoul Olympic Memorial National Sports Promotion Foundation (Chairman Cho Hyun-jae) announced that it will run the 「Seoul Olympic Games 36th Anniversary Week」 from the 7th to the 12th to mark the 36th anniversary of the Seoul Olympic Games.

The Seoul Olympic Memorial Week is designed to reflect on the achievements of the 88 Seoul Olympics, which is recognized as the most successful Olympics in history, and to spread Olympic values to future generations.

First, on the 7th, the Olympic Park will hold a '88 Green Festival'. Various events will be held to remember the Seoul Olympics, including a Hodori drawing contest with Kim Hyun, who designed the official mascot of the Seoul Olympics, and the Soma Museum of Art, mini Olympics and flea market. In addition, a campaign to collect expired waste drugs will be held together to protect health and the environment at the same time.

On the 10th, a ceremony commemorating the 36th anniversary of the Seoul Olympics will be held at the Seoul Olympic Parktel, attended by Seoul Olympic contributors and 2024 Paris Olympic medalists. In particular, this ceremony will also be a ceremony to award performance rewards to Paris Olympic medalists, which will be a place to feel the moving moment of the last Paris Olympics again.

In addition, on the 11th, an academic conference will be held for the successful opening of the National Sports Museum jointly hosted by the Korea Sports Corporation and the Korea Sports Association, and on the 12th, a workshop involving 35 members of the Sports ESG Alliance will be held to strengthen ESG capabilities and networking of each institution.
