Chelsea won with the performances of Nicolas Jackson and Jadon Sancho.
Chelsea beat West Ham United 3-0 in the fifth round of the English Premier League (EPL) in the 2024-2025 season at Olympic Stadium in London on the 21st (Korea time). With this victory, Chelsea jumped to second place in the league.
In the third minute of the first half, West Ham launched a counterattack. Mohamed Kudus tried to shoot from the square, but he headed straight to the goalkeeper. Chelsea dealt with it urgently.
Chelsea's subsequent counterattack scored the first goal. In the fourth minute of the first half, Jadon Sancho delivered a pass to Jackson, who fell to the side. Jackson scored the first goal with a clean finish from the square after hitting and running from the side. Sancho has recorded two consecutive games of help since coming on loan from Manchester United.

West Ham did not give up. He created Bowen's scoring opportunity with a clean pass play for the first time in six minutes in the second half. Bowen sent a sharp shot from the square, but the goalkeeper hit it.
Chelsea created several opportunities to score, but their concentration fell in front of the gate. West Ham showed no effort to create a miraculous drama, and Chelsea managed the game without overdoing it. It ended with a light victory for Chelsea.
