The Korea Fencing Association paid a total of 570 million won in rewards to national representatives, including 'New Avengers', who shone at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The Korea Fencing Association held a '2024 Paris Olympics Rewards Ceremony' at Grand Walkerhill Aston House in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul on the 12th. Korean fencing won two gold medals and one silver medal at the Paris Olympics, achieving a single Olympics 'multi gold medal' for the first time in 12 years since the 2012 London Games (gold 2, silver 1, bronze 3). In particular, Oh Sang-wook (Daejeon Metropolitan City Hall) won the gold medal in the men's sabre individual competition for the first time by a Korean player, and won the team competition, becoming the first grand slammer in the individual competition with the first ever Korean fencing team '2 Olympic gold medal'.

The men's sabre team consisting of Oh Sang-wook, Koo Bon-gil (National Sports Promotion Agency), Park Sang-won (Daejeon Metropolitan City Hall), and Do Kyung-dong (Daegu Metropolitan Fencing Association) won three consecutive team events following the 2012 London and 2020 Tokyo Games. The women's sabre team, which includes Yoon Ji-soo, Jeon Ha-young (Seoul Metropolitan Government), Choi Se-bin (Jeonnam Provincial Government), and Jeon Eun-hye (Incheon Jung-gu Office), has made history of advancing to the finals and silver medals for the first time in Olympic history.

The Korea Fencing Association paid 75 million won for the men's sabre Oh Sang-wook's individual gold medal and 200 million won for the men's sabre team gold medal. Coach Won Woo-young, who won the gold medal as a player in London in 2012 and as a coach in Paris in 2024, received a reward of 75 million won. The silver medalists in the women's sabre team event were awarded a reward of 100 million won. Special incentives were also given to women's epee, men's foil, men's epee athletes, support staff, and secretariat who failed to win a medal.

After delivering a report on the results of the Olympics on behalf of the team, Vice Chairman Cho Jong-hyeong of the Paris Olympics Fencing Committee expressed his gratitude to Chairman Choi Shin-won and SK Telecom for their generous support and sincere love for fencing""We will continue the history of the gold medal together at the LA Olympics."I vowed. On behalf of the team 'Men's Sabres Team Captain' Koo Bon-gil thanked Chairman Choi and SK Telecom for their support and presented a fencing pitch at the Paris Olympics with signatures of all the team members. Sponsors SK Telecom and Chairman Choi responded to Fencing Korea's best performance at the Paris Olympics by voting and paying an additional 200 million won to the existing reward through a board meeting. SK Telecom supported Fencing Korea's golden achievement with a record 3.25 billion won contribution this year.

Chairman Choi Shin-won, who praised each player for his hard work at the award ceremony, said "It's nice to meet you again here after a long time since the Paris Olympics. I was grateful for the gold medal in the men's sabre individual event, but I was grateful for winning another gold medal in the team event. When the women's sabres won their first silver medal in the team event in history. Tears welled up. There will be a day when female athletes will also be able to win a team gold medal." "We will do our best to support Korean fencing as an event that can bring joy to the people at the LA Olympics."I promised.
