KBO has confirmed the principle of scheduling KBO regular season games in 2025.

KBO held its fourth board meeting in 2024 on the 26th and announced its next season's operation plan.

First, the exhibition game will be held on March 8-18, with 10 games per team to make a final inspection ahead of the regular season.

The regular season will open on the 22nd and start a six-month battle of 144 games per team.

In addition, according to the principle of organizing the number of biennial home games, KT, SSG, Doosan, Lotte, and Hanwha will have 73 home games and LG, NC, KIA, Samsung and Kiwoom 71 home games in the 2025 season.

The All-Star Game will be held on July 12. The venue currently under public offering will be confirmed and announced later. What is different from last year is the extension of the All-Star break period, which was increased by two days from the previous four days to six days.

The existing four-day break was extended to the 6th by two days, reflecting the opinion of the team that full rest is not guaranteed for players participating in the All-Star Game. As a result, it is expected that the players will increase their concentration on the All-Star game and ensure a break in preparation for the second half of the year, thereby preventing injuries.
