'2024 KeSPA Global Esports Forum in Seoul' to be held from November 14th to 16th

The event will invite a number of domestic and foreign experts in e-sports and sports to discuss e-sports education, global governance, and improvement of athletes' rights and interests. The forum will be held at Pi Factory Studio in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, from November 14-16, hosted by the Korea e-Sports Association and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
It consists of three themes: Athlete, Cooperation, and Sustainability, and consists of keynote speeches and panel discussions for each theme. The contents derived from the discussion will be adopted as a resolution and set as a long-term action goal for the development of international e-sports, the association said.
More than 40 people, including key figures from 30 related organizations, including the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the Korean Sports Council (KOC), the Asian Sports Federation (AESF), the Global Esports Federation (GEF), each country's esports associations (Britain, Taiwan, Japan, Namibia, Canada, Ghana, etc.), Sterling University in the UK, and the Korea Sports Science Institute, as well as former national athletes, will participate in the forum.
In particular, the Korea e-Sports Association will introduce the case of establishing an operating system for the e-sports national team by summarizing the know-how of the e-sports national team's winning medals in all events at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games. At the same time, it said that it will strengthen overseas partnerships by signing agreements between subjects that make up the international e-sports community.
