Assistant Ambassador to Korea Visits KBO → Prevention of President Heo Gu-yeon

Mario Al-Gurai Rodriguez, the Cuban Corporation's deputy ambassador to Korea, visited KBO on the 2nd to prevent President Hu Jie-yeon.
Al-Juarai expressed keen interest in the Korea-Cuba warm-up match, the first sports event between the two countries after diplomatic relations between South Korea and Cuba were established next month.
He also expressed his gratitude to President Hu Jie-yeon and KBO for their efforts to hold the event.
The Cuban national team also expressed interest in the Ulsan-KBO Fall League, which will participate before the warm-up match, and said that the Ulsan-KBO Fall League will be a good opportunity for players from both countries to interact regularly and promote Cuban players to the KBO League in the future.
In response, President Hu Jieun responded to Cuba's participation in the Ulsan-KBO Fall League and warm-up matches to further promote exchanges between the two countries, thereby contributing to the development and internationalization of global baseball.
KBO will continue to create opportunities to continue active exchanges with Cuba and other overseas teams.
