"It feels real that I became a Doosan Bears player."

Doosan announced on the 7th that it has completed contracts with 11 rookie players in 2025.

Deoksu High School infielder Park Joon-soon, a first-round designated player, signed a down payment of 260 million won. Park Joon-soon, who was the first outfielder to be selected among fielders, is an infielder with three beats of ball, water, and week, and has performed brilliantly in high school baseball national and international competitions. Doosan named an infielder in the first round for the first time in 16 years since Huh Kyung-min, who was recruited in the second round in 2009. Including the first nomination, it has been four years since Ahn Jae-seok in 2021.

Park Joon-soon signed a professional contract, and I really realize that he is now a Doosan Bears player. I think the contract is the beginning, not the end. I'll work hard from the fall so that I can grow into a player who helps the team" he said.

Choi Min-seok (Seoul High School), a second-round designated pitcher, signed a contract of 150 million won. Choi Min-seok is a right-hander who can use sliders, curves, and splitters with a maximum speed of 149km.

Third-round designated pitcher Hong Min-gyu (Yatapgo) signed for 100 million won. Hong Min-gyu is a right-hander who uses sliders, curves, and changeups on a fastball in the late 140km range.

Hwang Hee-cheon (Chungam High School, pitcher) in the fourth round signed for 80 million won, Lee Sun-woo (Chungam High School, infielder) in the fifth round for 70 million won, Han Da-hyun (Laon High School, infielder) in the sixth round for 60 million won, and Yang Jae-hoon (Dongui University of Science, pitcher) in the seventh round for 50 million won, respectively.

Kim Sung-jae (Sunlin Internet High School, catcher) in the 8th round and Joo Yang-joon (Gyeongnam High School, outfielder) in the 9th round signed 40 million won each, while Yeon Seo-joon (Bibong High School, pitcher) in the 10th round and Choi Woo-hyuk (Laon High School, pitcher and outfielder) in the 11th round signed 30 million won each.

Meanwhile, after Doosan finished its rookie draft nomination "The concept of this year's draft was reinforcing infielders and pitchers. I'm satisfied that I can harvest six pitchers and three infielders who have complied. The overall infielder pool was good this year. The focus was on this, including fielder's biggest fish Park Joon-soon, Lee Sun-woo (5R) and Han Da-hyun (6R) all succeeded in nominating. I was able to nominate players who had a spot on the mound. Choi Min-seok (2R) and Hong Min-gyu (3R) are pitchers with ball control in the late 140km range. Left-handed pitcher Hwang Hee-cheon (4R) also believes he is competitive in pitching form. All the players nominated in the lower round also have their own competitive edge. I hope all the players who will wear Doosan Bears uniforms this year will be able to achieve their goals in good health."
