'Charges of accepting drugs' Oh Jae-won is sentenced to four months in prison with two more years of probation'Admitment of charges and cooperation in investigation'

The Seoul Central District Court's Criminal Chamber 24 (Judge Yoo Dong-kyun) sentenced Oh Jae-won to four months in prison and two years of probation on charges of entertainment under the Narcotics Control Act.
In a final hearing held on the 10th, the prosecution demanded a four-month prison term for Oh Jae-won.
Oh Jae-won was put on trial in November last year on charges of receiving 0.2g of methamphetamine from an acquaintance.
In his closing statement, Oh Jae-won said, `I will never touch drugs that harm society again"I'm so sorry for causing trouble..." he said.
The court pointed out that 「Drug crimes are so harmful to society that they need to deal with them」, citing the fact that Oh Jae-won admitted the charges and cooperated with the investigation, and that there was not a large amount as the reason for the sentencing.
Meanwhile, Oh Jae-won is serving a two-and-a-half-year sentence in the first trial in July on separate charges of administering methamphetamine 11 times in a year from November 2022 and forcing fellow players to take surrogate prescriptions for zolpidem-based sleeping pills. Both Oh Jae-won and the prosecution have appealed and are facing a second trial.
