Lotte Giants recruited pitching coach Kim Sang-jin and gained a thousand troops to rebuild the mound.
Lotte announced on the 31st that it has recruited former Doosan Bears pitching coach Kim Sang-jin.
Coach Kim Sang-jin was an ace representing Doosan in the 1990s when he was active. He is a legendary pitcher who ranks 17th with 122 wins in all time.
He began his leadership career with the SK Wyverns in 2005 and served as a pitching coach, rehabilitation coach, and training coach for the Samsung Lions and Doosan Bears. Recently, after working as a pitching coach at Doosan, he said goodbye at the end of this season to help Lotte manager Kim Tae-hyung, who worked with him during his active days.

Lotte expects coach Kim Sang-jin to lead the young pitching staff well based on his rich experience.
Meanwhile, Lotte reorganized its Futures coaching staff. Kim Pyong-ho, the general manager of the residual military, Kwon Oh-won, the bullpen coach of Futures, Na Kyung-min, the fielders coach of the residual military, and Cho Moo-geun, the rehabilitation coach of the residual military, have decided not to sign next season.
