Doosan announced on the 19th that it will not be able to renew the coaching staff. A total of six coaches will be on the list.
Doosan explained, `We recently held talks with head coach Park Heung-sik and coach Kim Han-soo and made this decision under mutual agreement.'
Coach Kim Han-soo boasted a rich leadership career, including coaching the Samsung Lions. After coming to Doosan as head coach after Lee Seung-yeop's inauguration, he took the batting part this season.
Coach Park Heung-sik also has a special relationship with coach Lee. He made a name for himself as a 'teacher' who led him to the home run king when he was an active coach. Last year, while serving as the head coach and batting coach at Lotte, he was notified that he could not renew his contract, and came to Doosan to fill the position of the head coach, which was vacant due to coach Kim Han-soo's transfer of the batting part this season. However, he left the team again after a year.

This year, he finished fourth with 74 wins, two draws and 68 losses in the regular season. The ranking went up one level from last year's fifth place. He showed a step up in the regular season, but he also showed regret, such as losing the first upset in the wild card game.
It was not easy to set up a season as all foreign pitchers also left, but overall, it was decided that the coach team needs to be reorganized. In the end, six coaches were selected who could not renew their contracts.
In addition to these six, Seriza and Yuji, the first team battery coach, recently left the team, signing with SSG Landers.
Not only the first team but also the second team have been missing a large number of coaching staff. Doosan will inevitably reorganize its coaching staff ahead of the 2025 season.
Doosan said it plans to conclude its coaching staff plan for the 2025 season as soon as possible.
