Heungkuk Life Volleyball Team will join the team on the 17th "Former middle blocker Kim Se-young as a player's mental and psychological management and middle blocker technical coach."As a mental mentor and oldest sister of the players based on their long experience and know-how as well as technical coaching in the middle blocker division, they will greatly help the team grow and teamwork." he said.
Coach Kim Se-young made his debut at KT&G in 2005 before the launch of professional volleyball, and played in both national and professional leagues with his great height and excellent blocking ability. He played as a middle blocker for the national team at the 2004 Athens Olympics and the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games and recorded 971 individual blocks in the V-League. He won the blocking award in the 2005-2006 season and the 2008-2009 season.
Heungkuk Life Insurance formed a relationship through an FA contract in 2018 and led the team to the unified championship in the 2018-2019 season. Kim Sei-young, who retired from Heungkuk Life after the 2021-2022 season, has consistently fostered aspiring volleyball players as a youth leader in Busan.
Coach Kim Sei-young said, `It is a fresh feeling to return to Heungkuk Life Insurance as a leader, where I last played as a player.' `I will try to communicate smoothly between players and staff so that the players can display their skills in a stable manner.'
