For Lim Chan-kyu (32, LG Twins), the second game of the postseason semi-playoff at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on the 6th was a big turning point.

In the second round of the semi-playoff, Lim Chan-kyu shook off all the sluggishness so far. He played a 100% role as a starting pitcher with seven hits, four strikeouts and two runs (one earned run) in five ⅓ innings, and was named the Daily MVP in Game 2.
Lim Chan-kyu, who joined the team in 2011, was able to win the postseason starting title for the first time in 14 years. Lim Chan-kyu showed strong confidence after the second game. Lim Chan-kyu said, "(I knew it was the first win in 14 years). I also knew that I was weak in autumn. I wanted to do well, so I tried to stay calm. (Park) Dong-won's lead and defender's help were great. With this game, I think I can change my career in the fall."

Lim Chan-kyu took the mound with a heavy burden as a starting pitcher in the 'cliff-end game.' A situation that could have been physically burdensome due to a four-day break. Lim Chan-kyu pitched well with three hits, two walks, four strikeouts and one run in six innings. With a total of 89 pitches thrown, he recorded a maximum fastball (33) of 146km, and used changeups (35) more actively. In addition, KT's batters were perfectly tied by mixing curves and sliders.

Fans cheered for Lim Chan-kyu, who stopped the sixth inning with a three-and-out strikeout. Lim Chan-kyu answered with his hand raised.
