The Samsung Lions consisted of Kim Ji-chan (center fielder), Kim Heon-gon (right wing) and Koo Ja-wook (left wing) and Diaz (first baseman), Park Byung-ho (designated hitter), Kang Min-ho (captor), Kim Young-woong (third baseman), and Jeon Byung-woo (second baseman) in the second round of the playoffs against the LG Twins at Samsung Lions Park in Daegu on the 15th. It is the same as the lineup released the day before the rain was canceled, but only Lee Jae-hyun and Kim Young-woong's batting order changed. On the previous day, he used No. 7 Kim Young-woong and No. 8 Lee Jae-hyun, but on the same day, he changed to No. 7 Lee Jae-hyun and No. 8 Kim Young-woong.
There were some adjustments in the lineup as the opponent's starter changed from Detrick Ens to Son Joo-young. Samsung manager Park Jin-man explained why they changed their batting order, saying "(Kim) Young-woong was not good in terms of relativity."
Kim Young-woong had one hit (homer) in five at-bats against Ence, but he had no hit in seven at-bats against Son Joo-young.
Kim Heon-gon was placed as No. 2 instead of Yoon Jeong-bin, who was the top contributor to the victory by scoring three hits and three points in the first game. It was judged that Kim Hun-gon, a right-handed hitter, was better against left-handed pitchers.
Yoon Jung-bin was good with a batting average of .304 against right-handed pitchers, but was weak with .208 against left-handed pitchers.
Kim Heon-gon hit .322 against right-handed pitchers and .286 against left-handed pitchers this season.
Ryu Ji-hyuk, who played as the 9th-2nd baseman in the first round, was excluded from the starting lineup on the 14th due to mild gall in his left neck during training.
